1. Great post! I’m very new to “proper” blogging too, so I’ll definitely make my own list of blogging goals! (you may be new to blogging but your blog looks very professional, i love it!)

  2. Love this, I am not one to make new year resolutions in every day life but I like the idea of writing down goals for my blog and photography.
Good luck with your goals, wishing you all the best in 2017!

I totally get that! I only make goals at new years because I think it’s a good opportunity to update your goals on a nice, clean date haha. Thank you and good luck to you too! Happy new year!

  3. Amazing post ! Best of luck with all your goals. I have also only recently started taking my blog seriously and would love to work with other bloggers and some brands too.. I’m not so sure on how to do that though! Happy New Year! x

  4. The way you structured this is so smart! I hadn’t even thought to look at my blogging goals the way you did: to build a plan around what you want your blog to look like at the end of the year. Definitely going to consider that now. Best of luck in 2017, Jaycee!

  5. Oh my gosh I love this! I totally understand where you’re at, I’ve had my blog for awhile but I want to take it seriously and grow it! I need to do this! We can hold each other accountable throughout the year! Thanks for the inspiration and happy new year!

  6. Sounds like you’ve got it all figured out! I’ve just started blogging so I’m not thinking too far ahead just now, but I can see how what you’ve done would be useful maybe later this year for me. I like how you say about starting from the end goal and working backwards, it’s a really good way to think about it. Good luck with everything! 🙂

  7. Jaycee, I love your goals…and your new blog! My blog is definitely new as well in terms of me promoting it, and I would love to have you guest blog at some point! (If you’re interested!)
    Happy 2017!

  8. This is a great idea to have blogging goals.. I have seen so many people writing them but I have never tried it myself. How do you even keep track of your readers and such? Is that a WordPress thing or Google analytics? I use blogger but I heard bloggers counts can be a bit inaccurate:/

Right now, I use WordPress to track my readers but I’d like to start using Google analytics more. I hear it’s more accurate and also more insightful as to how you’re getting your views and bounce rate, etc. As for Blogger, I’m not sure how it works! I’d recommend trying Google analytics, I hear it’s pretty simple to use, and all I’ve heard is great feedback on it.
